Invoice

Invoice needs to be sent along with the package due to various states/courier regulations. Generic name of the products eg. Personal Care Item OR Ready Made Garment will be mentioned on the invoice.

Product packaging

DISCREET PACKAGING We pack your items in a completely opaque thick brown cardboard box OR opaque high strength un-tearable poly bag. We don’t put any indication of product name name in the package on the packaging box*. This ensures complete privacy of your order and safeguards quality and packaging of your order. This is done FREE OF CHARGE!

In case of COD order we shall be attaching the invoice with the package mentioning the generic name of the product category eg. Garments, personal care etc.

GIFT WRAP we offer optional gift wrap in case you want to surprise someone OR you want additional layer of privacy. This is made available at a nominal charge of Rs.50.

3 Days Local and 7 Days pan-India Delivery Guarantee!

We offer a local (within Gujarat) ‘3 Days Delivery’ and pan-India ‘7 Days Delivery’ guarantee on most products bought on the site. The products ordered will be at your doorstep within 7 business days (Monday to Friday), of your payment having been cleared. For orders which are placed using Credit Card/Net Banking Payment Option and are under Verification, the guarantee is applicable post the payment has been verified.

What is not covered in the Guarantee?

  • Delivery delays due to customer unavailability or discrepancies in billing address or failures in providing contact number for delivery. (If the courier has come to the shipping address within seven business days and not been able to get delivered. The courier may or may not contact you before coming – that is something we have no control over)
  • Delivery to certain areas eg. North Eastern states, J & K, Remote areas in Hills etc. may have a longer delivery period due to lack of accessibility, poor weather conditions, security reasons etc.
  • This guarantee is not valid for special promotional offers (e.g. Anniversary celebrations, etc).
  • In case of cities dealing with law and order situations, delivery of courier might get temporarily effected.
  • This guarantee is not applicable for products on backordered status.

Shipping charges

  • Shipping is FREE for all orders above Rs. 499.
  • For orders less than Rs. 499, nominal shipping fees of Rs. 69 is levied.
  • The shipping charges will stay the same irrespective of the size of the order. Even if it costs us more to ship your Order to you, we bear the extra cost.
  • The total shipping charge for your Order will be displayed once you proceed to check out.
  • Octroi charges wherever applicable is prepaid and not to be borne by the customer.
  • It is our endeavor to ship all items in your Order together; however this may not always be possible due to product characteristics, or availability. Also there may be restrictions on accepting Orders for certain pin codes as cannot be shipped to those destinations. In such scenarios, order will not be accepted online and message will be displayed requesting to provide an alternate pin code.
  • Currently, each order may be shipped only to a single shipping address. If you wish to ship products to different addresses, you need to place multiple orders.
  • In instances where customer places multiple orders within a day or two, we might combine orders and ship them together.

Important points before placing the order

  • Please check the serviceable locations where payment via COD is acceptable
  • COD orders cannot be combined with Gift Vouchers or any other promotions.
  • For COD, maximum order value is Rs. 5000
  • Only single attempt would be made to deliver the products for which the payment option is COD
  • Dispatch of COD orders will be delayed because it takes a longer time to process COD orders.
  • COD orders can be delivered only at select locations.
  • Any cashback schemes run by mobile wallets can be withdrawn anytime witout prior notice to the customer.

Cancellation Policy

We make every effort to fulfill all the orders placed. However, please note that there may be certain orders that we are unable to process and must cancel. The reasons include limitations on quantities available for purchase, inaccuracies or errors in product, pricing and stock information, or problems identified by our credit and fraud avoidance department.

Our Customer Service Team will communicate to you if all or any portion of your order is cancelled. If your order is cancelled after your credit card has been charged, the said amount will be reversed back in your Card Account.

Cancellation by the Customer

Please contact our Customer Service in case you wish to cancel the Order. On receipt of the cancellation notice, we shall cancel the order and refund the entire amount (less any transaction charges or banking charges that might have been incurred by us) if the order has not been processed by us. We will not be able to cancel orders that have already been processed or shipped out by us. In some cases this can happen in an hour after you place the order.

Refunds

We will refund the money in the same mode as the payment was made. If the payment was by Credit Card or Net-Banking, we will refund in your Credit Card or Net-Banking account. If the payment mode was Cash On Delivery (COD), we will refund the money in chinpoo Wallet, which can be used for any purchases on chinpoo.com OR can be transferred to the Bank Account. User would need to add bank account details and then initiate transfer from wallet. You can access your wallet by clicking here.

Typically refunds take 3-5 Business days to get reflected in Bank Account. In some cases, credit card issuing banks may take longer to reflect the credit posted on the card.

Returns Policy

We are committed to ensuring your satisfaction with any product you have ordered from us. If you are not satisfied with any product, we will accept returns within 7 days as follows:

  • In the unlikely event that any product you have ordered from us is not received in good condition, is damaged or defective, or if product delivered is different from what you had ordered, you may return the product unused along with its original invoice, and in the same condition as you received it, in its original packaging along with original tags, for a refund or an exchange, within 7 days from the date on which these goods are delivered.
  • Please do not accept delivery of any item whose outer packaging is damaged or tampered with in any manner. Please contact customer care if you open the packaging and discover that the item is damaged.
  • Products damaged while being used do not qualify for a refund or replacement.
  • In case we are unable to replace the damaged / defective product, we will refund back the order amount to you.
  • In case a product comes with manufacturer warranty, customer should contact the manufacturer directly and follow the return/replacement procedure as per the manufacturer policy.
  • In case your location supports reverse pickup, we shall be arranging a reverse pickup of the products from your location free of cost. You just need to pack the products properly and hand over the packet with our address to the courier person who we will arrange to come to your doorsteps. Please retain the receipt/POD given by courier personal.
  • In case reverse pickup is not possible from your location, we will request you to send the products to us via courier on your own and we will refund the courier amount to the maximum of Rs.69/-.
  • Refund shall be initiated once the products reaches back our warehouse and necessary checks are completed to clear the refund process.
  • We hold the right to deduct shipping charges of Rs.69 for every 0.5 kg of consignment weight in case customer is found to be returning too many orders to earn cash back discounts/credit card points OR found to be involved in any other fraudulent activity.
